What's a hot topic these days? Covid-19 Pandemic?

Updated: Sep 1, 2022

The COVID-19 pandemic is an ongoing global pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and was first identified from an outbreak in Wuhan, China in Dec 2019. It has been more than 2 years now and globally, we have accepted it as the new normal albeit the wearing of masks and health precautionary measures still being taken in high-risk areas and situations.

Today, we have to come to terms with the far-reaching effects and repercussions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The global economy is struggling, major economies of the world have taken government spending to levels unheard of before, smaller countries are forced to make healthcare a national priority and while many companies struggle to survive, yet many others have closed their businesses for good.

We have to recover to the business levels before Covid-19, many of us have to cope with going back to work and having to commute. But the lesser fortunate ones have to cope with loss of jobs, loss of income, loss of security and feeling of uselessness.

To many organizations and the individuals, they need to learn, unlearn and re-learn.
